Instructions to Author

VISHVA-VIDYĀ

Publication Schedule

VISHVA-VIDYĀ is an annual academic journal published every year in the month of December.
A call for papers and press notification will be published on the official website of the Institution two months prior to the respective issue.

Languages of Publication

The journal accepts scholarly articles in:

  • Sanskrit
  • English
  • Hindi
Submission Guidelines
  • Contributors should submit their articles both in MS Word format and PDF format.
  • Articles must be sent only through the official e-mail ID of the Institution.
  • Only typed manuscripts are accepted. Handwritten manuscripts will not be accepted unless typed, in which case typing charges must be borne by the author separately.
Processing and Review Procedure
  1. Upon receipt, the article will be examined by the Editor-in-Chief and formatted as per the journal’s style.
  2. The formatted version will be sent back to the contributor via e-mail or hard copy for confirmation.
  3. After receiving the contributor’s response, the manuscript will be forwarded to subject experts from the Advisory Board for preliminary evaluation.
  4. Upon their approval, the article will undergo peer review by external reviewers (non-members of the Advisory Board).
  5. During this stage, the author’s identity will remain confidential.
  6. Based on reviewers’ opinions, the Editor-in-Chief will take the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of the article.
  7. The decision will be communicated to the contributor by e-mail, phone, or official letter.
Journal Processing Fee

The journal processing fee must be paid only after the article is formally accepted.
Authors are advised not to remit any fee at the time of submission.
Payment details will be communicated after acceptance.

Article Length and Format
  • Preferred length: 4–5 pages (A4 size).
  • Font size: 11 or 12.
  • In case of lengthy articles, the decision to publish will rest solely with the Editor-in-Chief.
  • Articles not meeting academic or editorial standards may not be accepted.
Font and Script Requirements
  • Sanskrit and Hindi articles must be typed in Unicode fonts (Preferred: Sanskrit 2003, Mangal).
  • English articles should preferably be typed in Times New Roman.
Author Details

At the end of the article, authors must provide the following details in English only:

  • Full postal address
  • Mobile number
  • E-mail ID

Additional requirements:

  • Employed authors must mention the address of their institution/organization.
  • Research scholars must clearly specify:
    • Name of the research supervisor
    • Supervisor’s designation
    • Institution/University of employment
    • University where research is being pursued
    • Approved research topic

Scholars and researchers are invited to contribute original and unpublished research papers for consideration in the annual issue of VISHVA-VIDYĀ.

Contributors are requested to submit their research papers in soft copy (MS Word and PDF formats) along with a covering/request letter addressed to the Editor-in-Chief, VISHVA-VIDYĀ.

Submissions should be sent only through the official e-mail ID of the Journal.

The research paper must clearly mention the author’s complete postal address, mobile number, and e-mail ID.

For preparation and formatting of the research paper, contributors are advised to carefully follow the “Instructions to Authors” prescribed by the Journal.
